A chronicle of the Cristeros War (1926-1929), which was touched off by a rebellion against the Mexican government’s attempt to secularize the country.

Erik is a twelve year old boy whose passion revolves between his lovely friend, Andrea and a master’s skill for skateboarding. His family has financial troubles and is about to lose the family business. Erik, himself has his share of problems when the local gang tries to make him a part of their deals.

The Greatest Miracle is a contemporary story of hope, inspiration and faith. The film follows three Catholics who have each reached a period of crisis. The first, Monica, is a widowed mother doing everything possible to provide for her son, Diego. The second, Don Chema, is a public bus driver who receives the news that his child is ill and without hope of survival. The third, Doña Cata, is an elderly woman who feels she has little left to live for.

Five hundred years ago, in the midst of America’s conquest, an enigmatic painting appeared stamped in an Indian’s robe. The image, with a woman’s face, created such exhilaration that it managed to immediately unite the Indian and the European cultures. Who was that woman? What did the Spaniards and Indians see in this mysterious figure, to mend matters and live peacefully?
